Refund policy

Exam fee refunds are processed by the refund deadline for each exam type. Exceptions such as natural disasters or the death of an immediate family member are handled separately after review of evidence.

The refundable amount depends on how many days remain before the exam (see the thresholds for each exam type below). You can check your registration status and payment history in My registrations after signing in.

Cambridge English exams (CEQ)

Group testing refund policy

50%From just after the application deadline until 3 weeks before the exam: 50% fee refund
30%From 3 weeks before until the day before the exam: 30% fee refund

Linguaskill / Placement Test

Reasons eligible for a refund when evidence is submitted

Death of the candidate or an immediate family member (death certificate)
Illness or injury requiring the candidate's hospitalisation (medical certificate)
The exam session being cancelled due to a natural disaster or national emergency

환불 마감일은 영업일 기준이며 천재지변·직계가족 사망 등 예외 사유는 별도 검토.

How to request a refund

STEP 1

Check the eligible application in My Applications

Please check the exam date and reference number in advance in My Applications.

STEP 2

Request a refund via the contact page

On the contact page, include the subject [Refund request] Exam name / Reference number, the account to refund to (holder, bank, account number) and the reason. For exceptions, attach evidence (medical certificate, etc.).

STEP 3

Review and refund

After review within 1-2 business days, we reply with the refundable amount and processing schedule. Refunds are deposited within 3-5 business days after the reply (excluding bank holidays and maintenance days).
